The Virginia Coastal Resilience Master Plan recognizes the challenge that flooding poses to coastal Virginia, including to the Northern Neck peninsula’s over one thousand miles of coastline. Part of the plan was the development of the Coastal Resilience Web Explorer, which allows users to see Virginia’s current and future exposure to a range of tidal, chronic, and storm surge flood conditions.
